hector and Marta have been coming once a week for many years. They bring nice things for tea (an avocado, fresh cheese, a special bread). While I was babysitting, they invited me once a week for tea out. Once Hector asked for churros and it was a failure. The churros were soggy and not crunchy as they should be. After some thought I guessed that the churros were made beforehand and then heated in a microwave oven. So I promised Hector some churros. I had to get the easy recipe as when I lent the gadget to Claudia she lost the paper inside the box. But internet helped and here I am. I´ll take a nap and the go to my churros.

Whenever we order 'bread sticks' the restaurant sits them underneath a 'heat lamp' to keep them warm. This always ruins the crust! They aren't crusty and soft, but dehydrated and tough

@kobesbuddy They are very easy, if you have the gadget. It is flour and the same amount of boiling water.

I know. He was so sad when they gave him the soggy ones at the restaurant. He let me try them and I knew immediately it was a heater.

I'm sure Hector will love the churros. They are popular here at fetes and celebrations.
