Henry Mancini was born on April 16, 1924, and was an American composer, conductor, arranger, pianist and flautist. He won 4 Academy Awards, 1 Golden Globe and 20 Grammys for his compositions. Mancini's "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet" was #1 on the Billboard charts for 2 weeks in 1969. He passed away in 1994.
