Three persons who fell into an icy lake rescued by police and firefighters

A story that comes from Grandville Michigan when two strangers who did not know the dangers of stepping on an icy lake, fell down into the Whispering Springs Lake where they could lost their lives. However thanks to a concerned eyewitness who used their cellphone to contact 911 to seek help for the duo, the local police and the American Medical Response team members came to the scene of the incident when they found that a Good Samaritan who did his part to attempt to rescue the duo also fell into the lake. The Grandville police and first responders were assisted by a neighbor who let them use his boat to rescue the trio. Two of the accident victims were taken to a local hospital where they are expected to make a full recovery. It is great to see a community care for the welfare of each other in a time of need. The Good Samaritan did not appear to need any medical assistance from his fall into the icy lake.
