I am back to screen ( this time my mobile) after few hours of being away from here. I just have some twenty minutes at hand and so I am not switching on my laptop to mylot. This week started with unexpected holiday due to corona fear and I spent most of the day lazying around and napping for longer hours. And it seems your body gets used to a bad luxurious habit faster. . Today I again started yawning at 11:30 while mylotting. And I would have given up to napping as I had all time to do that. But I would not like that to be a pattern. This week was as such last working week for me till June. Guess! Summer vacation has started early for me. And I want my vacation to be productive. So I got up and moved around to finish few chores. Though I kept yawning for a while, soon it was gone. I am done ironing a load, cleaning up one of the drawers and throwing away all the old bills and receipts. I also took out clothes that need a bit of mending and needle work. I have kept them aside and will take them one at a time in afternoon. My daughter has two hours of music class in the afternoon and will go till evening. So I will use one hour to mylot and other hour to walk and exercise. I am having some fresh juice and crackers for my lunch. Guess all the delicacies and feast for yesterday celebration is still making me feel full. I had a tall glass of almond milk for breakfast and that was good enough. We still have left overs from yesterday. Hope we can finish it in dinner. I will just make some omelette if needed. Now in some time I will leave to pick up my daughter from school. Till then I will keep myself busy with mylot.

@arunima25 I would say if you are normally active and have time on your hands now no wonder you would yawn. Glad you are finding things to do to keep you busy. I hope you had a nice feast.

@Hannihar Yes. It does become boring. Well now it's summer vacation. It came a little early due to virus scar. I have to make a plan to keep myself active and productive.

Actually it's my work time and being at home I get clueless and restless. I am in two minds.. To relax as it's a holiday or to get some pending work done. There is always some work there in home but guess our mind always goes for luxury and rest

Festive times makes you eat more. And then it can get a bit tough for our tummy. Even I want something lighter but as I do not have control over kitchen matters, some heavier stuff looks more likely! But that's life!!

Actually I crossed my limits. My stomach is good. But definitely gujia and pua have made my sugar levels shoot the roof. In the afternoon I felt giddy and tired. I checked my sugar. It was close to 300. I know the symptoms when it's high. Guess I have to drink some good litres of water to flush it. And definitely a strict diet. You can manage with some good burning of calories with your heavy food. I am not driving or doing excess exercise as it's not advisable with this level of sugar. I will walk at slow pace for a long one hour today.

It's not a pleasant one. With more cases getting confirmed, it's scary.

I'm glad you kept yourself busy so you wouldn't need to nap.

Yes, once we do some bit of physical chores, the sleep evades. Glad I did that. Yesterday I didn't nap and today I am keeping up with it.

It is very easy to get used to having a nap during the day but if you get active and keep going, then you get over the urge. But reading or staying on the computer just makes the urge to nap worse.

@arunima25 If I get up and start doing a few chores that involve moving around then the sleepiness goes away.

@JudyEv That's what I did. Moving around definitely helps. Now I am sleepy even after a 40 minutes afternoon nap. I will just go for some walk in an hour.

Yes. Getting used to a good habit takes so long. If research is to be believed sticking to a routine for 21 days becomes a habit. But not with luxuries. We fall for them within hours. Mylotting was making me even more sleepy. So I thought of doing other chores.
