First day that Luna is eating.

After a fasting of 3 days, Luna started to eat. Sometimes I wonder if pets fast because they do mot like dog food (reasonable as compared to a BBQ) or because after the feast, their tummy hurts.
Today I gave her a smaller amount of food plus her funny cookie with a bone figure. The good thing about the cookie is that it has meat taste, or so it says. She happily ate the cookie, but I wasn´t sure about the dinner. Yet after she ate her treat, she went immediately towards her dish and ate it all. I´ll give her more tomorrow, but not today. Little by little.
Now it is my turn to eat dinner. See you later.

I think dogs and cats sometimes get finicky ideas about food. When my house guest cat Cheese first arrived I was given dry food for him. He ate but not too much. Then his owner gave me the dry food he really likes and before I put it away it was on the kitchen counter and when he saw the box he leaped up and knocked the box down to show what he wanted. Now he is eating just fine.

What Luna really likes is food made for human beings. But I´m not sure that it is the best for her.

After a stomach problem, this is the best way to feed a dog. Too much would do more damage.

@rappeter13 Nit much. She used to do it when she was smaller. She even ate one last year

@marguicha same here. When one of our dogs is sick, my wife would say it is better if she is the one sick than the dog. When our dog would not eat or would eat sparingly, we are alarmed. The vet said that the eating is one indication that the dog is well.

When Kobe refuses to eat, something is wrong. Either his stomach is upset or he swallowed something that wasn't meant to be eaten. He chews on sticks and some of it, Kobe might ingest into his stomach. Then, he eats again!

@marguicha At times, I try to help Kobe, when he's not feeling well. I've learned, when he shows these signs, I just wait a day or two and try to keep him well hydrated. If he only gets worse, I take him to the veterinarian. After getting an inoculation, Kobe always feels under the weather.

I think that I will be more careful in the next barbecue. I can piece the treats instead of giving her a lot as Humberto did.

It's good Luna is eating again. It would be so much easier if they could talk. In the wild, animals like lions and tigers only eat every few days so maybe it's natural for them to fast if they're have a really big meal. I know lions and tigers are cats rather than dogs but even so, it would make sense.
