Beautiful equals good?

I have read a lot of psychology in my life. One of the sentences that remained engraved in my mind is that people, in most of the cases, consider beautiful people, animals or things as good, and ugly people, animal and things as bad.
I know beautiful people who are cruel human beings, and "ugly" people who have the most caring personality. Of course, I know beautiful people with beautiful personality and "ugly" people with ugly personality.
Do you tend to believe that people, animals or things that look good are good?

I agree with you, but statistics show that people who are considered beautiful have more opportunities in life than people who are considered average or ugly.

Experience show us this, that this is the case. But statistically shown, people who are considered physically beautiful get more opportunities in life. It is pure psychology.

@DianneN It is human nature. I cannot blame that, but it is always good to use experience and mind, too. But when I am given an opportunity, I rarely think about the why. Okay, I am talking about work related opportunities.

I agree with you. But I guess psychologically we are tricked by everybody and everything we consider attractive. Experience teaches us to ignore the first impulse.

Nature is always a variety. Good or bad, beautiful or ugly. You cannot categorize them. But if you ask me what I prefer, of course the beautiful.

I also like beautiful, but only if it is also good. I fell in trap too many times to know that appearance and interior are many times two completely opposite stories.

It is a good saying, but do you think that the reality is not different? Do you think that people don't judge people based on the appearance?

Here is a saying that appearances are deceiving, usually one tends to judge without knowing only by appearance but when you meet and deal with them you are surprised and it turns out that they will be ugly or strange looking but they have such a beautiful heart, that they are Gentle and educated as well as the opposite ..

Everything is possible. I was like that, too. But because some negative experiences, I try to be more cautious.

@rappeter13 That is really good and it is the best to be cautious, I tend to take my blows for not being cautious and the worst thing is that I do not learn from bad experiences ..

I see it happening day by day. People are attracted by what they find beautiful and believe that is good. Of course, experience can change the way a person perceives life.
