I sure hope you can forgive me but being alone there are all kinds of crazy things that go through my mind. So I am beginning a series of songs about feet, shoes, or just plain walking in other words whatever comes to my mind. We begin with “These Boots Were Made For Walking” by Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of Ole’ Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra. This song was a hit in its time back in 1965 when things like go-go boots were in fashion. The song rose up to number one both in the U.S. and the U.K. Today Nancy Sinatra is a very young 79 years old. Movies this song was included in “Full Metal Jacket”, “Now and Then”, “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” and “Ocean’s 8” among others.

Me and my friend here downstairs went out on a hot summer day at the age of 13 with short shorts and go-go boots and bumped into the pastor of our private school it was one of those moments you remember a lifetime @DianneN
