Parents & phones...

Someone recently done a discussion about kids being on their phone and it got me thinking we see so many parents on their phones while their kids are around and don't pay any attention to them well I have to say this is one thing that Annoys me. No Matter what you are doing or what you have to do it can wait, take a minute to think to yourself that whatever you think is so important will still be there. Make memories with your children and let them know you are there, let them grow up happy, smiling and knowing they are loved. Your phone or housework will always be there but one day your children will be grown and ready to fly, Cherise these moments and be there to watch them grow and love them unconditionally :-).

I think it's not right for people to ignore the people they're with in favor of the phone. The phone can be handy when you're with friends to look something up or to share photos or take them, but otherwise, put it away and enjoy each other.

@lgm92881719 - what really amazes me is people walking and looking at their phones. Ummm, nope--you're going to get hurt that way!

This is very good advice. So many parents are missing out on the wonderful experiences that could be theirs.

@lgm92881719 You are a very sensible Mum and the kids will remember the good times too. They won't remember a floor that hasn't been swept or unwashed dishes but they'll remember the fun they had with their Mum.

I absolutely agree kids need love and guidance to become good people and I always make sure to spend time with my babies so they know I'm here and I love them, just seeing them smile as laugh makes life so much better

I agree! It’s a shame that parents are missing out on these special moments with their children.
