The photo has nothing to do with the discussion but was taken at a horse breed show we attended recently.
I don’t know if any country other than Australia has IGA supermarkets. The individual stores are independently owned but have grouped together to give them the buying power of the bigger conglomerates. Now, one IGA located in Pier St in Perth, the capital city of Western Australia has announced special shopping hours for those with disability and pension cards.
While the coronavirus guidelines are in place, the first hour of trading of each day will be restricted to card-holders giving them a chance to pick up supplies while the shelves are hopefully somewhat stocked. They will also avoid having to compete with any crowds of shoppers that may be in the store at other times. I think this is a great initiative.

This is a good way to ensure that those with disability or those who are on pension have access to much-needed supplies.

@JudyEv true.
Plus, this is the time that we should take care of the most vulnerable sectors of our society
We should look after each other.

I suppose it's not the most convenient time but at least it is something.

We have the IGA stores here as well.
That is such a wise decision to offer special offers for those who should not be out with the general public as it could mean they could acquire the virus innocently should someone be carrying it unknowingly.
