Reminder: If any of you have any subscriptions you forgot to cancel, do it now!

Check to see what apps, services, or products you may. have subscribed to that you don't really need anymore. I don't like Pandora music much, and had some other random app that I don't even use anymore that I cancelled. I think Amazon is still pretty useful, assuming the things you need aren't sold out (I heard they are sold out of toilet paper on Amazon. Yikes.) Also gym memberships! Sometimes you have to go in person, though.

It's good advice to check this sort of thing regularly. I will often go over any subscriptions I have and see if there are any I no longer use. I've got Amazon Prime and Amazon Music. I like Prime, and need to keep that at the moment as we're watching Star Trek: Picard on it! The music one, I got while I had no other means of playing music (and it came in useful when I needed to use my laptop for my wedding music). Now, though, I have a CD player that my husband bought me for Christmas so I might get rid of Amazon Music. I do have two payments going out to RAC - one is for my breakdown membership. I think the other was for some sort of life insurance. I've recently had information to say that one or the other of these is coming to an end but I don't know which payment is which! I've not had a car for a while but decided to keep the breakdown cover anyway - I can use it as a passenger in other vehicles, and it means I won't lose my long-standing 'Silver' membership if I do need it again. Apart from those things, the only other subscription I have is an annual payment for my English Heritage membership.

@esscuzi We don't watch normal TV, and there are a couple of good programmes on Prime that we like. I did consider getting rid of it as we weren't using it much but then I thought the cost was worth it even if we only watch one or two things in a week. It's still cheaper than the BBC TV licence.

I just cancelled mine. I wasn't going to initially, but I realized personally I will not need it.

Oh yeah, definitely. I even received an e-mail from Amazon that they are urgently hiring for their delivery drivers, and warehouse workers. Good starting pay, but you have to live in the Bay, and I don't anymore sooo :/

It makes me sad for people who are disabled or elderly and live alone, who don't have easy access to those things :( but it is overall ridiculous this is even an issue. This is why people gotta invest in bidets!
