The great work-from-home disruption

Not really complaining. I just find it quite challenging now to work from home since everyone's home with me all day, every day. And this will be how it's like in the next 3 or 4 weeks following the announcement to a massive lockdown in Luzon. This means no significant or active earnings for me. Although I'm thankful to be still earning commissions from my affiliate programs. I'm so used to working in a quiet environment and with no other human in sight. I have not finished any article since the lockdown. But it's okay. We're all home and safe and seemingly healthy. I hope you're safely cooped where you are. Are you able to work from home without so much distraction or interruption? * Image by Pixabay

Yes, it's best to stay home. Are there COVID cases in Sonora already?

My wife is also working at home. She has a connection to the network in the office and fortunately we have a landline phone. It is great to work from home. No traffic, no stress of traveling.

@almostoveryou working from home at this time is good for the health, lesser chances of contamination.

That's true. I've been working from home since 2005, and it's been great. Though I'll have to adapt to this new setup as the entire family is home and I'll have to supervise my kids' distance learning. Good for your wife. I hope she stays productive as she works from home.

My office job is possible to do from home. Well, my actual job isn't but there are other things I can do away from the office should we be forced into it. I also do some freelance work from home anyway. My husband is always at home so I am used to being distracted" I wanted to get some work done last night but, while I did manage to get some done, my husband just would not stop talking so I couldn't concentrate! Perhaps, if I am home all the time, I'll work while he has a nap or does other things.

@almostoveryou When you have a full house it would be hard to work at home unless you have a quiet place to work. I am home till next week when have to go out, but, in the meantime, I finished all I had to do outside so do not have to go outside tomorrow.
