Government's can help countries infected like italy. China can give italy help and advice how to curb the outbreaks

Governments will always try their best in such cases but their best may not be sufficient to protect the masses in this type of emergency. The countries having best medical facilities have fallen short of requirement.

In India , government has put a careful radar on larger major cities as such place accommodate most of the corporate prone to have frequent flyers to other countries . The flights to Italy and some countries are temporarily in suspension, schools are closed and IT employees are encouraged to do work from home.

I am positively surprised how our Government reacted to Coronavirus. They want to prevent people to go outside.

We are a tad late in considering lock down. As soon as the first case was reported in my country, I would have ordered mandatory quarantine for all people coming into the country, from whichever country, cancel visas preventing Indians from going out, trace all tourists and their contacts and quarantine them, bring back all Indians quarantine them, close schools and colleges indefinitely. Keep only essential services. Stop buses and trains, and domestic flights. And ban any function, processions, protests. To hell with what another person or country thinks about us. Lives are more important.

I talk about Romania: they should be harsh with disobeying citizens, they should use the force a lot more, because we have many ignorant and arrogant citizens who ignore everybody and everything.
