What time is it?

During this community quarantine, time seems so slow. But thanks to the advancement of technology I still got a chance to see my baby daily, watch some movies and search anything that comes to mind. I also heard earlier that if you want to go to the market which is outside your barangay, you should seek a pass/ticket first. I think this is good way to control people from going out without any valid reason.

@Shivram59 Here also, the number of victims is still increasing and we can't risk our lives and our loved ones this time. We have to endure for now until all these subsides.

Thank you. But it would have been better if I really have her with me but circumstances like this prevent us from doing so. I hope it will be over so soon!

I have money but I have nothing to buy with my money. All stores are empty. I miss my old Vegetable garden back in the Phillippines.

@bbghitte The only thing people didnt buy here is some gluten free tacos. I am Hispanic but not really a crispy taco guy but there is nothing else to buy so I bought the crispy tacos.

Oh, that's really a problem. I hope they will refill the stores soon. I miss my hometown too. I just called my mother earlier and she said we don't have to worry about them because our neighbors keep on giving them fresh produce and they just had adobong squid for dinner!

I'm hoping that this period of quarantine will encourage more people to slow down a little and maybe appreciate the simpler things in life.

@bbghitte I have seen more people walking in the hills near where I live. I'm up there every day walking our dog and it's noticeable that there are a lot more families all out walking together. Admittedly it's about the only thing we're still allowed to do other than go and buy food!!

I hope so too. Seeing a clear sky and appreciating its beauty is something we didn't notice a week before all these because we're too busy working and chasing our own dreams.

@WorDazza I think that would be fine as long as they keep distance with other families, I think being inside our own home for a couple of days is also suffocating. We need to see the outside world also and appreciate its beauty.

I’m happy technology helps keep you in touch with your daughter. Technology is so powerful! We are free to come and go to the markets here. Many places have opened earlier just for seniors and the handicapped.

@DianneN We just received a quarantine pass earlier and we noticed that they will only allow individuals who are 18-60 years old to go out and buy necessary stuff.

Time does go slow in any kind of lockdown. I remember when I was a kid being in a classroom lockdown for 3 hours. glad it was not for days or months

I bet you got so bored with that long 3 hours because as a kid 1 hour is too much already and their focus is floating somewhere else:)

Hi, bb! Our city was ordered on a lockdown, days ago. Yes, time seem to move slow, while in home-quarantine. But, you are right, there are many things to do to keep us busy. The only problem is: lagi tayong gutom! Ha! Ha! Ha!
