Although I like the computer and internet so much, but I always think that children shall study in the school rather than online courses. The online courses are suitable for the university students and adults as they have Self-discipline. Due to the coronavirus, the schools have been closed for over a month and the children all study online at home. I even bought a new printer so that everything will be much more convenient. Actually I don't know what my son is doing in his bedroom. Hopefully he is really busy with his study The school has tough schedule. The preparation is on 7:30 and the study is on 8am. The break is from 12-14pm and then study again. The next break is from 6:-7pm. After that they have to study until 10:30pm I think the study time is too much. Perhaps the schools think that the children will not feel bored or get troublesome when they are busy?

If the children are kept busy, they will learn a lot more.

@youless My daughter even has college classes on holidays, she doesn't get a break. About once a year, she gets two weeks off.

Goodness - that is a very long day for them. Even longer than normal I would say.

In fact it is similar to his school schedule. This is why I think overseas children shall be happy since they don't have such a longer study time.
