Everyone would like to eat organic fruits and vegetables; but for some the prices are prohibitive. However, concerns about pesticides are a good reason to go organic. Since 2004 the Environmental Working Group has been providing a list of the Dirty Dozen every year. These are fruits and vegetables that are most likely to contain pesticide residue even after being washed. Here's the 2020 list of fruits and vegetables that you should purchase organic if at all possible: 1. Strawberries 2. Spinach 3. Kale 4. Nectarines 5. Apples 6. Grapes 7. Peaches 8. Cherries 9. Pears 10. Tomatoes 11. Celery 12. Potatoes I hope this information is helpful to you. Photo Credit: Pixabay

I remember a wash that came out years ago that took off these residues. I can't remember the name of it though. It seems like it would go over better in today's times.

@kareng Veggie Wash was one. Here's a recipe from the internet: To clean most fruits and vegetables, mix a solution of 1 cup vinegar to 4 cups water inside your spray bottle, then add a tablespoon of lemon juice. Shake well to combine. Spray your produce: Place your fruit or vegetable in a colander in the sink. I found a listing for Fit Organic Produce Wash. So, yes, it was called Fit.
