After spraying down this discussion with Lysol you’re safe to read about another song that has a title fitting with our current “social distancing” issues. This is hopefully a little levity in the face of a pretty serious crisis. Here’s today’s appropriate song title. #7: Gotta Get Away - Randy Meisner Well, it’s like this: Randy Meisner and Glenn Frey weren’t social distancing in 1977. After an Eagles concert in Knoxville, they were brawling. Then they practiced social distancing: Meisner left the Eagles. But no hard feelings. On his first solo album Meisner recorded a song that Frey wrote (“Bad Man”). And, on his second and most successful album, 1980’s One More Song, he even had Frey and Don Henley singing backup on the title song! Meanwhile, here’s a song with a title that pretty much explains how everyone’s either feeling right now or is going to be feeling in a week.
