Do you shop for groceries online?

Because of this massive lockdown in our region, we now have to obtain a quarantine pass just to be able to get provisions. However, as the number of cases in my country is increasing and deaths are happening, I'm thinking of ordering groceries from online stores instead. We've found a few reliable online stores that deliver groceries within our province. We still have a lot of food and other goods in stock, but I just want to look into this online option so I won't have to go to the supermarket anymore. Though of course, if given the chance, I'd still prefer to go to the grocery myself and personally pick the items that we need. That's cool, but I haven't tried one. I am a bit picky, especially with vegetables:)

I know what you mean. I'm suspicious of the quality of vegetables these online groceries might deliver.

@almostoveryou I tried ordering a long time ago online groceries but did not like it. I prefer going to the store and seeing things in person even now.

I prefer to go to the grocery myself too. I enjoy scrutinizing every item and picking out stuff that I like.

We've had the same issue here but I was told there are routes that allow deliveries to cross different towns and cities.

@almostoveryou Here, they said that the pass is only good for the city you are in

Thankfully, we don't need a quarantine pass to get groceries. We don't buy food online. We have a store near our house where we can get what we need. It is always pretty stocked.

@almostoveryou Thank you! I stay home. Last time, hubby did the shopping. I should at least get out and get some air. Haven't been outside in days minus the few second outing to bring the garbage can back inside the house.

I'm glad you have that kind of convenience. I've seen the number of cases in New York, and I hope you all will stay safe and healthy.

I did shop for them but it was far before the lockdown. And it wasn't a bad experience

I bought toilet paper and tissues only and coffee so far, but nothing else.

Good to know you still have tissue paper there. My sister in Calgary says she could no longer find tissue at the supermarket.

I imagine it would be challenging to shutdown food market. We do not have a big ref so we can't stockpile a lot of fresh produce.
