I was extremely saddened to learn Kenny Rogers has died. He was 81 years old, and died of natural causes, but it still stings. I have listened to Kenny for as long as I can remember. Thinking of him now, I think of hits like "Twenty Years Ago", "Buy Me A Rose", "Coward Of The County", "The Greatest", and a slew of others. Seeing as his music was a major part of the soundtrack to my life, his loss is like losing a favorite relative. I ask any of my connections who pray to pray for his family in this time of grief. Thank you.

I remember his music going back to the 60s, when he was having pop songs cross over to the country charts like “Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love to Town.” A tremendous loss for the world of country and pop music.

I guess the time arrived to finally "fold 'em."

So sad to hear! He was one of my Mom's favorite recording artists. He was only 80 which by todays standards really is not that old. "Lady" was one of my favorite tunes from him...
