The Department of Labor here offers cash assistance to employees of private establishments whose work are affected by flexible work arrangement or temporary suspension of business operation in line with the pandemic.
The amount of assistance is 5000 pesos or around 100USD.
How's you Labor department helping the workforce of private entities especially those workers earning under the minimum wage?

I also heard this in the news. I also watched abit of Congress meeting and a woman requesting the assistance be 10,000 because 5,000 will not be enough. I don't know how it played out in the end.

@yoalldudes government I think has an advantage over their benefits. I just can't understand why HDMF here does not offer yet calamity loan.

There are other big companies who are providing financial assistance to their employees like SM and Robinson's.
