So my ear ache has not gone away. In fact it has become really itchy which I think is from the ear drops.
I called my new family doctor this morning and he wanted to prescribe me antibiotics again. I said that the doctor online had prescribed antibiotics for 5 days, isn't it supposed to be 7 days? He said, yes 7 to 10 days. He asked if I had any allergies and I said no. Then he said, "But you have stage 3 kidney disease."
What the heck!!! I am seeing an Internal Medicine specialist because my Creatinine levels have been over 100 but not too much over 100 and have gone down as I continue to try and drink lots of water. I said my kidney function is at 85%. He said it's at 52%. Of course I freaked out and started crying when I got off the phone.
I immediately called my Internal Medicine specialist. The receptionist looked at my records and confirmed that I am stable and do not have kidney disease. I've asked that the doctor call me back.
Don't I have enough health issues to worry about that I get this thrown at me too?

So what's happening with your ear? Did you get more antibiotics?

Got more anitbiotics and when I saw the name I knew it was of a family of antibiotics I took before which ended me out in the hospital twice in one night. Sure enough I had (my digestive system did) an allergic reaction. So I had to call the doctor for something else. I went to pick it up tonight but they couldn't fill the prescription but he gave me 2 to tide me over. However, on the upside, that one pill I took last night (which gave me stomach pains, nausea, diarrhea, gas and more diarrhea) actually made a big difference to my ear. The itching has stopped so I'm happy about that.

Oh my, I am sorry to hear that. I understand why you're upset.
What are the symptoms if one has high creatinine? I pee more often than normal. I've been to a urologist his findings were the overactive bladder.

I don't have any symptoms. When I got my blood and urine tested annually my creatinine levels came in high. I was told to drink more water. I had a back ache awhile back that I am now wondering whether it was my kidney and perhaps it was inflamed or something.

@BarBaraPrz No, I have 2. I did go to a Nephrologist many years ago and he said my kidneys were functioning at 85% but he had nothing to compare it to as in I could have been born with 85% functionality. Anyway, I'm not liking the doctor saying I'm now at 52%. All I can do is drink lots of water.
