What to think about statistics. The only words are: take care.

I have been listening to more than my share of news lately. Not because I want it, but because I turn on the TV and I start listening to what is happening in the world and in my country. I am worried about my 2 grandsons stranded in Sevilla. Felipe has been living normally there now for 4 years and all I have asked has been if he was happy and how was his guitar playing. Now I want to know whether he has food and money, whether he is keeping himself safe and if he takes care of my other grandson. I have written a post about my eldest daughter so I won´t go into it. https://www.mylot.com/post/3353255/i-received-a-mail-from-my-eldest-daughter-the-little-house-on-the My country´s first health authority speaks every morning. We have more people infected every day. We have 4 deaths. But all the people who have died had terminal illness. It so happens that when our bodies are old, our immune system does not work well.. All the deaths in Chile (4) are of people over 80. We have to take care, that is all we can do. No more

How is the weather there? Is it cold? Some people think that during the summer it will disappear.

We are heading towards winter here. I don´t have problems. But my eldest daughter is cold already.

I don't think the weather has to do or difficult for the virus to infect. Here, we have a warm usually more than 30 degree C of temperature or higher than that especially starting this month but the infection is rapidly increasing. We are now close to a thousand and counting.

@ZedSmart This is scary. It can last longer than we expect. This is bad news. The doctors were so sure that people who live in warm places aren't affected. But in your place it's summer. We also have a thousand here.

I’m worried about my family in New York City. The only thing we can do is check in with them daily.

Numbers in Australia are climbing rapidly. Our pattern is following that of Italy. The figures are very similar apart from us being a couple of weeks behind them.

We have 74,071 cases so far and 1,067 deaths. Now I found out that COVID-19 causes lung and heart damage. This is very disconcerting.
