This is one story that is not likely going to make national news headlines since it is showing us that teachers do care for the welfare of their students even during the lockdown of schools around the world due to the coronavirus crisis at this time.
The faculty of the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio Texas are following the lead of other school districts to hold parades in the neighborhoods around America and beyond riding vehicles that read "We Miss You." and "Love you, be well." to boost the spirits of the students that they are not able to teach inside a classroom at this time.
The students are only allowed to wave back at the parade autos from their doorways and driveways to avoid spreading the virus.
The good news is that in the school district in San Antonio starting on Monday, students can resume taking classes online for the remainder of this current crisis or school year.
It is amazing that technology has some great uses connecting students and teachers working together during this coronavirus crisis to keep moving forward.

I do not think it will make the news. It is nice they love their students, but, they should not be out and about and looks like they are sitting too close to each other.

I agree with you that sitting too close does violate the rule of being at least six feet apart.

You are right. I have seen in cartoons which now is working in real life.

No parade like that here. That's a good idea to lessen the sadness of people. Thanks to technology students can still continue their studies

That is the good thing with the use of computers now that schools are closed for an indefinite period of time.
