Long Line At Costco

Just arrived at Costco but I'm going to turn back. They are only letting a certain amount in at a time. And it is five o'clock already! The lines are moving pretty quickly, but I'll try another store to get in a little earlier. How are stores where you live?

I've heard a few shops like Trader Joe's and others have really planned well for social distancing. They allow only 50 per batch. That's good in a way.

Yes, that's a good way. At Walgreens they have spaces and blue blocks where we can stand six feet apart

I don't know about our Costco here but the other stores aren't doing that yet.

@db20747 It may be a matter of time if things don't change. The Kroger here has put a limit on everything.

Yes, many smaller stores are still smooth shopping

I am a member of Costco and do go on occasion. Costco is always a crazy place to shop and I stay away from that store as much as I can. I prefer to shop where there is less insanity. Were you able to go to another store and get what you needed?

Yes, I even go to the pharmacy stores like Walgreens and CVS. Walmarts are always a mad house for me. I try to hurry up and get outta there as quickly as possible.

I got out yesterday, first time in awhile, they were not bad but I did not go to big stores like Costco.

There's lots of elbow room at the smaller stores here too

I haven't been to Costco lately, normal stores are not too bad in terms of lines.

That happened to us last week in a big supermarket here that the carts were all inside and the shopping are is like a concert hall that is full of people. We left. It is a waste of time to spend an hour or 2 in the line.

@db20747 even the small stores here have a long line because of the crowd control.

I'm having an easier time at the smaller stores. I'm even going to the pharmacy stores like Walgreens and catching good sales and lots of elbow room

It's a good thing they are limiting people inside the store. Line seems pretty long. It can move quick if they limit the amount of time people can be in the store. It is very easy to spend at least an hour in the store.

@db20747 I don't shop there as have no membership but I used to sometimes go there with my parents who do. My dad loves to try their sample stuff.

Our Costco is the same as yours. Good idea. I found most things at Walmart, but some shelves were empty. I hope you get everything you need!
