Doing things that others consider lame but you love it?

I was reading a certain book today that advised that you should define your identity on your own and not look unto others to define who you are. Know what makes you happy and do more of it. Know what makes you sad and do less of it. It got me thinking about how I love watching comedy series and not the other genres that many people like. I have met people who say that watching comedy series is so lame. It almost made me fear walking into a movie shop to buy five seasons of a comedy series. But after reading this text this morning, I don't think I will ever be ashamed of my love for comedy series and not investigative series or science fiction. Have you ever done something that others consider lame but you love doing it?
