People today are suffering from many problems specifically this No work No pay here in our country. In a family the father is the usual. Person who work for the family's daily needs. But when the father get sick or stuck the work will be stop to. Its hard but it's true. Please stop that rules

Don't you guys over there have something in place like the ability to draw unemployment or something? Don't know, so just curious if the Philippines has any safety nets for its citizens?

@JhovanPH I was going to say. There is a LOT over there that is modeled to the USA. I would think they would have modeled some of these social support systems as well. I mean, the "shoot to kill" order is something that would NEVER happen here. But I am glad, so long as you will not be shot, you've got at least some support mechanisms in place through these times.

@porwest it's better to be locked at home than the "shoot to kill" rule. Japan is now doing that and it is so horrible

All the departments like social welfare. The social security system etc. Are giving all the Filipino workers $200 dollar each As a support

In normal circumstances this rule is okay but in abnormal situation like that of the present one it will not be right on the party concerned to leave the person to fend for himself. In no civilised society this will be allowed to be done.

The company must oay atleast in advance so that the employeee can use that money for their basic needs
