Stay-At-Home Order Began Today

Just an hour ago ... the Stay-At-Home order began at 5:00 pm. They are talking about putting a curfew in place to make sure everyone is inside at 9:00 pm.
Skip and I won't notice the order to stay at home ... we have been staying at home for several weeks now. We did make 2 quick trips out. We have one more to make soon. We really need to be even more careful. Each day the cases of coronavirus rises here.
Are you under a stay at home order where you live? Does it affect your every day? I do feel sorry for the people who are alone ... have no one. The world has become a scary place. I know if I didn't have Skip, our Pups2 ... I would be very tense. We all need someone.
I have slept a long nap today. Do you know? I haven't ever done such in my life unless I was very, very sick. It seems I need to do that now so, I will. I can't believe I feel better when I wake up.
I think I hear so much about the cases increasing each day ... listen to doctors, nurses as they let us know the horror stories where they work. See people who are interviewed ... hearing their grief, pain ... it does something to ME. I can feel the pain, hurt of other people ... and I truly care even if I don't know them. I've always been like that ... I don't apologize. My Heart cares.
In fact, I wish so much the myLot Code here ... had some colorful Hearts in it ... as I am a Heart person. On Facebook I put Hearts where I don't have words to say ... to let others know I care very much.
I did accomplish something today ... the laundry. Also, I gave Camie a medicated bath, she is our Catahoula Pup. Kissy is our Rottie. I call them the PUPS2
Well, I put Stay-At-Home Order begins at 5:00 pm in my journal this evening. I'll be looking back at all this later ... one day who knows who will read my journal? It will be accurate history as I am very careful when I record facts/sources.
I'd like to add one more thing here ... I did very good today on ... mindless eating. I ate right today. The several lbs. I gained will be gone very soon. I'm proud of that.

Thankfully, Skip and I don't live in a densely populated area. About 40 miles from us is where people are living on top of each other ... so, so many people from all over the world has moved here because of jobs and such. We don't get around anyone. I'm so glad we self-isolated 3 weeks ago.

@florelway For now, social distancing isn't a problem. Later, we will wish to be around others again. For now, it's sad we have to feel fear.

@GrannyGee that's good. Coping up with social distance would not be a problem with you.

@id_peace We are seeing on the news about how people are picking up, putting back down all kinds of things at the supermarkets. Gracious, if they are carrying the virus that isn't a good thing.

Yes, I agree. I think lockdowns create more problems.

This time when we go out to buy groceries we will wear a mask. Thankfully I have several from when Skip was in the hospital. I want us to wear gloves, also. This will be the last time out for some time. I don't want to take chances.

Here in my place, we have an enhance community quarantine. I have an offline work. And it was stopped temporarily. The good thing though is that I have little savings and I know how to work online. So I could would online while the enhance community quarantine is still implemented here. Keep safe.

I think that we all should have been aware of what was happening in at least February so precautions could be taken. I hope the orders work in time, I'm not certain they will.

It is easy to get into a bad habit of eating just for the sake of it through boredom. I think it is good to establish a routine and try to stick to it. Bizarrely we have been sticking to our own lock down too but at the weekend it still feels different from the chores we do throughout the week so we are tending to chill more at the weekend than we do in the week.
Good luck with your home order. Keep in touch with your friends on messenger or facetime or whatsapp.
I am doing a daily teaching session with the grandchildren to help save my daughters sanity. All I can say is God Bless Teachers. I know I used to teach adults but children wow they are a different kettle of fish.
Stay safe and I agree with you about the hearts by the way!

You are having quite an interesting experience teaching your grandchildren ... I am smiling here. I've heard other parents blessing teachers now for all they did with their children in school. Thank you, Gary. Stay safe, all of you. @Hannihar (130150)

I would say staying at home can make one want to sleep more. I have not seen you here in a while? How are you and skip and the pups doing? We have had lockdowns and have been told we cannot go out for very long or can only go out for medicine and groceries. Now, things are starting to open up but we still have to wear masks. They told us now that the gloves are not working so to not wear them. I liked mine but if they do not work then I will just wear the mask. I talked to someone one day that told me someone they know got it and it is very very painful. I cannot afford to give it and bring it home to my cat. I hope you are all safe and ok.

Hanni, Skip hasn't been well for the past several weeks and is going to neurologist today. When he isn't well ... and all of the pandemic ... I hate to admit it pulled me down so much. I lost interest in everything. I am a positive person though I still can get very down :) I'm so glad to be back in contact, Hanni.

I can understand that you were worried about him. So how did it go at the Neurologist? I am so so sorry. Glad to have you back here with us. Take care both of you.

I'm surprised they just began it here, also. I know I've constantly heard of it happening everywhere. The positive here is Skip and I have pretty much been doing that to begin with.
