Ohio firefighters rescue a dog that was stranded on the shore of Lake Erie

Thanks to the concern of a neighbor who lives on Lake Avenue in the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood Ohio, a puppy that was left by himself in the home of his owner was rescued by the brave firefighters of the Lakewood Fire Department on Sunday morning. The puppy was trapped near the shore of Lake Erie when heavy storms pounded the region on Saturday. A neighbor who lives near the home of the stranded puppy threw food at the puppy to keep the dog fed as well as called the authorities to come rescue the puppy. Members of the Lakewood Fire Department used an inflatable raft to get the puppy to safety. However the fire department do not know where the owner of the puppy Is at this time or if the puppy just happened to wander into the home by accident. The good news is that the dog is safe and sound. Hopefully the puppy will either find a new home or reunite with his owner soon.
