"Hero bonus" pay raises for Kroger employees

I like the way that Kroger Chairman and CEO Rodney McMullen is respecting the work of every employee who has gone beyond the call of duty by working hard to provide superb service to the customers who have come to the store to stock up on the basic needs for their homes during the coronavirus pandemic that has plagued our world. Employees who have worked from the period of March 29 and April 18 will receive a $2 bonus on their paychecks which are being called "Hero Bonus" checks. The Kroger franchise has recently hired around 30,600 employees to stock shelves inside their stores to meet the demand for basic needs for their customers. Many of the new hired employees are likely laid off employees who were employed by stores that have to cut back services and hours due to restrictions from government officials that are siding caution during the coronavirus pandemic at this time.
