Update: computer issues

It seems I am always creating posts about computer issues. (maybe because my life is boring and only when my computer acts up do I have anything to say. (LOL).
Anyway, yesterday I finally figured out which novel I am going to work on when my laptop starting freezing up, followed by restarting. It did this about 3 times before it just went into restarting mode. 
Then it started to not start up at all.
So I gave up, and worked on cleaning and watching a movie last night. I decided this morning that I would start my computer in safe mode, see what I can do there (starting in safe mode from a blank screen means I click the button to open it, then close it when the brand icon pops up, I do this about 3 times and then allow it to open up). Of course after the third time, it opened. I feel like I am hanging by a thread with my laptop.
First thing I did was to upload items on my desktop to my one drive. By doing this I am ready reset my whole computer. Then I took a chance and opened my email and other sites. So far so good. But if this continues, I may have to reset my computer, unless someone has a better idea.. (Of course, I forgot to mention the clicking my computer does when opening, so if it is a hard drive problem, my laptop is trashed)
So if I do disappear, it may be that my laptop stopped working . If it is still working, I will try to let you know that I am not here as often due to working on my novel.
That sad, even though most of my stimulus check will go to bills, I saw I can purchase a small tablet for not too much and may have to invest in another device.

I am here only because once in a while it will work, but I do have to invest in a hard drive for my desktop and I'll just throw away my laptop.

That is what I am thinking. Because my laptop has to be plugged in all the time now, plus I have to plug in a keyboard because many keys don't work.

I scanned my computer and though some problems were fixed, it still restarted. However, you could be right, because since I shut it down overnight, and though it wouldn't start up this morning (without using the safe mode method, that failed) it is still working.
