They Officially Announced School Closures For the Rest Of the School Year

Today thru officially announced school closures for the rest of the school year, honestly Little Miss isn't happy about it, but I have explained to her that they are doing it to keep her and those she loves safe.
Little Miss says she hated this new normal and I'm sure many agree with her, but I want her to see that it's to keep her safe, though I do understand her frustration.
I have to get my rent taken care of tomorrow, but after that I plan on sticking to home other than going to church to feed Me Grace.

My kids where not thrilled that the rest of there school year was cancelled as well. We got our announced 2 weeks ago. It’s been rough since then the new normal isn’t fun for anyone.

Yes but thankfully shes older now I couldn't imagine trying to explain this to her when she was 5 or 6, she's eleven now and understands a lot more.

This is the new normal, I'm afraid. Kids are going to be missing out on a lot this year.

Yes I know, it just took so long for them to actually give them some direction with the homeschooling, for awhile I was just going by instincts!

The school board here is meeting Monday to decide what they will do here. Schools were only soft closed until the 20th of April.
