Shopping At Walmart Will Be A Whole New Shopping Experience

Our local Walmart is enforcing the 6 ft. rule between every person ... people will line up outside Walmart ... all standing 6 ft apart.
Walmart will let only a few people in at a time ... eaching having 6 ft between them as they move in one line ... one way all the way through the store to the doors at the other end to exit. So, they will be shopping in a line weaving in and out of aisles.
I told Skip I am so, so glad we went yesterday to pick up our meds, groceries. Skip can't stand in a line long. He wants to be with me when going out because he worries so much ... I am the same about him. We have to look after the other.
So ... shopping at Walmart will be a whole new shopping experience.

Thank God for online ordering and delivery service. I hate Walmart anyway, so just another good reason to stay away!

@GrannyGee I will have to run out to the grocery store sometime this week to restock on some supplies, but I'm not in any danger of running out of food. But I do have to pick up some prescription medication, so as long as I have to go to the store to pick that up, I might as well restock on some supplies while I am there.

@moffittjc That's what we do ... try to do several things once out. Monday we are supposed to pick a med at Walmart Pharmacy, we are also going to the convenience center and pick up medicated shampoo for our Camie (dog).

I saw people walking up hugging the other when we were out yesterday. Someone hugged me before I knew they were going to ... they quickly remembered and pulled back. I understand because hugging is because people care about you ... now ... NOT to hug someone is the way of caring about people.

@porwest Yes, it creates a distance between us all and will in the future probably ... yet, it brings even strangers closer together. It is weird for sure.

@GrannyGee Yeah. Even the common obligatory handshake will be gone for a while. It's so frigging weird.

I don't think it's so bad ... someone who works at Walmart said there can be many people inside, no one standing outside ... they are supposed to keep a 6 ft distance. Anyway, I'm debating on going Monday to pick up one med.

My brother said it was amazing to get in and get out when he went for “senior hour” earlier this week.
