When you’re social distancing you need music to help. That’s why I’m presenting a list of songs that have titles that appropriate for our current situation. Here’s today’s song title for those who don’t obey the rules. #5: Just Go Away - Blondie I told you, John, when you made that remark about my needing a cold shower that you’d be needing one soon!! When people bought Parallel Lines for the dance-happy single “Heart of Glass” they may not have known about Blondie’s punk roots. They found out pretty quickly! Here we have Ms. Harry giving a humorous kiss-off to an unpleasant person (“If you talk much louder you could get an award from the Federal Communications board;” “You spell, you read, o-u-t, out”). And, honestly, a lot of us feel this way by now, especially watching all the politicians and “experts” do their daily 180 (“You’ve got a big mouth and I’m happy to see your foot is firmly entrenched where a motor should be”). But we’ll get through this. And if someone’s not following the guidelines, turn this song up nice and loud for them; because, although it’s 40 years old, it seems like it was written for the current people who don’t want to play along. Just Go Away Written by Debbie Harry Recorded by Blondie From Parallel Lines, 1979 Of course, “cool” rhymes with “fool”:
Blondie - Just Go Away, from the album Parallel Lines, B side from One Way Or Another (1979)

Who are they? Blindie? Bloondie? That singer girl seemed somewhat attractive.

Her name is Dirty Harry or something like that. Funny, she doesn’t look like Clint Eastwood.....

@FourWalls If only this Dirty Harry would have said to me "Are you feeling lucky, punk?"

Great lyrics and very relevant. And it was written 40 years ago? Time certainly flies.
