Today I don't feel like doing anything...

?Today I don't feel like doing anything I just wanna lay in my bed ? I don't have anything witty to say today. I thought about writing about my dreams, but I haven't done that in awhile (written about them, I've still dreamed) and I don't really feel like doing it now. What I really want to do is turn on the tv and binge Final Table which I've watched two episodes of every night on netflix. I could be doing a load of laundry, but I don't feel like doing that either and noone's running around naked yet so I still have time before I have to do any. I'm really out of sorts with today. I don't want to do anything, but not doing anything causes me anxiety. I should write as I've been doing some writing every day, but I just don't have any inspiration for today.. It's Thursday by the way. It feels like it's the fourth Monday of the week, doesn't it? Blah. What are you doing today?

Watch TV if that is what makes you feel good!

Yeah, maybe.. I'm difficult though. When I'm feeling this way, I usually can't settle on just one thing to watch.

It's OK to feel that way once and a while. Give yourself permission to do nothing and to not feel anxiety about it. I felt grumpy the other day, which is unusual for me; and I just went with it. The next day I was fine. Relax. Chill. Do nothing productive! :-)

That is what I've pretty much done today. I've sort of realized why too. It's been one of those womanly days for me.

I can totally relate!! Hubby had to work today, so I just wanted to stay in bed and not have to deal with reality. It wasn't easy! Sister asked if I would go to the store with her. I forced myself to go out. When we got home, she helped me do a little bit of the chores to surprise hubby. After that, I went back to my room, to watch my own shows, and cover up with my blanket. Stayed there till dinner was done. He has a 3 day weekend, so I know he'll have me out in the yard helping him. The rain needs to hurry up and get here so I can go back to bed

Sometimes it's just a matter of getting up and going out even when you don't want to. Sunlight has a way of reviving us.

The current situation makes blah days the norm rather than the exception, it seems. If I didn't have work occupying me for a few hours every day, and young-adult children to set a good example for I'm not sure I'd bother getting out of bed some days.

Things are tightening around here too. Just saw a short news clip from one of my facebook pages that says Gov. Cooper is limiting the amount of people in a store at a time and encouraging stores to do one way aisles to limit people per aisle.

@SophiaMorros I have a couple of family members that are at higher risk. One of my cousins has a mitochondrial disease and if she goes to the hospital and ends up catching the virus it could kill her. I try to stay informed but I don't turn on the news as much as I once did. I think it's starting to become very real for people as they realize we are all going to be inside for a lot longer than anticipated.

@ScribbledAdNauseum The NC numbers are starting to pick up speed. I'm trying to focus on other things, but this is impacting pretty much every area of my life to one degree or another.

Things have only changed slightly for me since I'm such a homebody. We used to go out to eat twice a week and we can't do that now...

I need to take my dogs for a walk, but I really don't want to. My apartment complex was mowing the grass a few minutes ago, and I, along with one of my dogs, have allergies that get aggravated by freshly cut grass. Today is just picking something up from the pharmacy, and trying to keep my mind occupied.

@AmbiePam That's what it's like for Wilson. His skin gets that way but it also falls out a bit. They are constantly telling him to stop scratching and / or putting coconut oil on his fur and giving him allergy pills and the occasinal antibiotics when they can afford it.

Yeah, grass is one of my major allergens too. Does the dog break out or is it just sniffles? One of my friends dogs breaks out because of the grass now, or so my friend thinks. Poor dog is just riddled with allergies now. Yeah, best thing to do is to keep our minds occupied and off of the major news networks.

Just the usual BS..nothing exciting. What is Final Table about? I started watching Molly's Game which Shay wrote about. It is pretty good.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Sounds interesting. I am watching The Great British Baking Show. I have seen many of the episodes, but am trying to watch the ones I haven't seen. I like that show, it is so calming compared to what we are dealing with these days.

@snowy22315 I've watched maybe one or two season of it and I liked it. Is it still on netflix?

Final Table is a competition between chefs. All the chefs in the competition own restaurants and some of them have had michelin stars. They are in teams of two and have to prepare a meal from different countries. Each episode is a different country, and the judges change with each country too. Three teams are held back each time because of something they did or didn't do with the dish. They get a chance to try again but with a different person judging, and then that judge has to decide which of the three teams gets sent home.

I have worked most of the afternoon in the garden. It was great to work outside, but the pollen is very bad!
• United States
9 Apr 20
I am not sure of our pollen count at the moment. We had a little rain yesterday and I think we may have some today. That will help wash some of that away. It has been windy the past couple of days. I don't go outside very often, though I know I should.

@LadyDuck We need to find out whether the neighbors will mow our lawn again this year or if we will have to find someone else to do it.

@simone10 True, I know this. I remember a few years back that I worked so much (like a month with maybe one or two days off) that I ended up dehydrated with a UTI. It was a forced few days off for me.

At work right now. Waiting on drywall mud to dry. I think it's too humid for us to do the other job, which is outside painting. So when we are done here I think I will place our grocery order for Walmart so we can pick it up this afternoon and then may try and convince Chris that we need to go out on the four wheeler or in the canoe. I've gotta get stuff for the kids Easter baskets done too.

Work still holding steady despite what's going on? Hmm, I forgot about easter. I might go the day after easter to get some candy. I haven't set foot in Walmart for about two or three weeks now.

@thislittlepennyearns Atleast there is still fiverr. I haven't been doing a lot of my sites lately. Just been doing a lot of writing. I still come on here and do parttime, but I haven't done qmee or pollpass and I got rid of a few things on my phone I Wasn't using.

@Janet357 Yes, I hadn't even thought of it. My cycle isn't normal so each month is really different from the last. I think, to be honest, I am probably starting to get back to a more standard normal.

Worrisome is a really good word for it. The past couple of weeks, I've had atleast one or two days when I'd just not feel like doing anything, and it was anxiety inducing for me.

Good god ! Now i have that song stuck in my head. And that's just from reading the title and continuing the next part myself, before even reading the beginning of the post. . Went for a 30minute walk this morning, then made cinnamon rolls for brunch. Now watching tv.

Sorry! If it makes you feel better one of the songs from the early 90's came on my spotify playlist and it's one of the ear worms one that I can't get out of my head. Oh yum! Cinnamon rolls are so delicious. We have a pack of those pinwheels. I know they aren't the same, but they are so addicting.
