Everyday friend has taken to mailing me "info" about the virus. Like I don't hear enough on regular TV. I did look at one of the videos once that was pretty interesting, but I feel I am being Covided to death, I don't read most of the emails he sends. I could tell him I don't want them, but it gives him something to do, and maybe one day he will sneak something positive in there! I could tell him it would be much better to have something encouraging or uplifting in his emails, maybe he will look for them.

All the news, social media and even what other people say serves no good and just spreads gloom and doom, encourages fear, misinformation and various agendas. We know the score and it requires minimal attention to gleam anything pertinent. There is absolutely no reporting of anything positive and encouraging such as survivor stories and what the true statistics are.

To be honest, I really only listen if it is Dr. Fauci or Governor Cuomo speaking. All the rest is hearsay to me.

I think Faucci is worth listening to. What happens in NYC is not germane to every place in the country.

@snowy22315 True, about NYC, but it isn't that far from here, and I like his attitude and the fact that he's working his fanny off for the people of NY. So I pay attention!

I hate when people send messages related to Corona. I guess we all are already having enough

He has always bee a "bad news guy." No one wants someone around that is constantly looking for something negative, although he does have some good qualities.

You are definitely right about the bored part. He is not good at entertaining himself at all.

I think we have heard more than enough about it. The only thing I might want to hear about is where the infected people in this county are.

I find myself looking for anything but coronavirus information. I know enough, and have well intentioned people giving me the latest.

Omg - I have friends like that too! One of them put me on her group text list for these updates (and virus memes ). It can be annoying, but like you said, I'm letting them do whatever too - because that may be the one thing that keeps them occupied.

Yes, if it makes them happy to send them,,let them. You don't have to read them.
