About Today's Outing...

So today I had the online pickup order from Wal-Mart that I did. I kind of regretted that because there were so many people doing the pick up orders. There are 10 pick up order spots at my Wal-Mart and we waited almost an hour before a spot opened up!!
However, it went smoothly once we did get a spot. The brought the items, we paid, and were on our way. Everything I put on the list they had, so no deductions or substitutions. There was a line outside for those actually going in, but it was never too long...maybe at the most 5 people waiting at once.
After, we decided to get dinner while we were out and went through the Drive-Thru at DQ (Dairy Queen). I wasn't going to cook after the Wal-Mart ordeal lol....and I will be back on plan tomorrow.
I thought I would update since some were curious about how the grocery pick-up went.
How did your day go?

@wolfgirl569 That makes sense....I just wanted a few things for Easter and this was the only pick up time available before then

It wasn't even the waiting that was the worst part....it was trying to drive around to get a spot and someone else getting the spot.

Days? Wow! So you just kept re-ordering your list? Not sure how that all works. I was getting frustrated because people would drive up and steal the spot I wanted lol. Sometimes doing it yourself is a lot easier

@MommyOfEli2013 I left the items in my cart and tried to check out. It told me there were no spots for the day or the next day. I couldn’t choose to be put on the list. I tried for four days then my cart was cleared so it must empty itself after a certain amount of time. It took so long to add those 40 items I was not attempting it again.

@shaggin Oh okay, that is very interesting....cause I just had to reserve a time....and then add things to my list....maybe it is different in different places

This is a problem when they don't have the same product and we need to consider a substitute but good you were lucky
