National Cheese Fondue Day National Pet Day 1970 - Apollo 13 is launched. 1976 - The Apple I is created. 1932 - Joel Grey was born. He is an American actor, singer, dancer, director and photographer. He is best known for playing the Master of Ceremonies in Cabaret on Broadway and in the 1972 film. Grey has won an Academy Award, Tony and Golden Globe. He is the father of Jennifer Grey. I bought my Mom and Dad a fondue set one year for Christmas. It was a big deal back in the '70s.
