Cherry Blossoms

Norwich, England

There's one wonderful thing about lockdown - I get to wander around my garden in peace and quiet. I can listen to nature and take joy in all the wonderful plants and trees that are now coming into bloom. Having made a cup of coffee this morning I took it to the bottom of the garden and noticed how our cherry blossom had suddenly come into bloom. I nipped back indoors and grabbed my camera and zoomed in and I'm able to show just how beautiful nature can be.

You are lucky to have a garden to escape to.

The aspect of the garden and the meadow and woodland beyond were the main reasons we bought our house. The house itself isn't perfect but the location is spot on.

I just love being outside and since Adam bought me my camera I think taking photos is my second greatest pleasure.

My partner and I moved here 20 years ago. Both of us were brought up in the country but our first home was on the outskirts of a city. We had a small garden but neither of us were ever really happy there. We then had the opportunity of buying our little house in a village quite close to where I was born. We're lucky enough to have a garden overlooking a meadow which then blends into a lovely piece of ancient woodland. I can't see me ever wanting to move from here.

I hope one day I can be under a cherry blossom tree. That must be such a nice experience!

I have to agree on the peace and quiet. My neighbourhood can get a little too loud for my taste.
