You can now get points for submitting receipts to Swagbucks

So Swagbucks has this thing now where you can upload your grocery store receipts (and it seems those from other types of stores as well) and earn SB. They pay 2 SB for every receipt. I didn't do this before but started to now. You have 14 days since the purchase day to upload the receipt. It's an easy way to earn some points. I tried to upload a receipt from a local supermarket hubby went to (we don't usually shop there) but it didn't except it, telling me the store is not in the list. I went to the list and it indeed wasn't there. I was surprised. I expected it to be there. On another note, I didn't think my local Russian store would be on the list so threw the first receipt out (since I started uploading receipts) but after checking the list I saw that it was there. So from now, I will keep all my receipts from this store. They say if a receipt is long you gotta upload two pictures. I had a very long receipt so took two pics but when submitting the receipt I couldn't select two images at once so did two separate submissions. The second submission surprisingly went through and I even got an extra 2 SB because of it as each had a different transaction #. But that's not how it should be done. It should all be in one submission. I hope next time if I have a very long receipt that I will figure out how to select two images at once. I am doing that from my phone as that's where I take my pics.

That's good to know they're doing that.

They also had shopping lists, which paid 15 SB. Not sure if they still do that though. I've never tried it.

@lovebuglena That's interesting. I've never seen the shopping list one.

@just4him I never did it and now do not see it. It used to be on the same page as the submit receipt thing.

Funny how they're doing that at the very time when we SHOULDN'T be going out to any stores. But of course, we all still are, regardless. Best to take advantage of the easy SB's while the offer is there!

@lovebuglena I was only aware of being able to submit receipts for offers that were posted on their site.

Well, submitting receipts has been around before the pandemic. I just didn't start using it until now.

@moffittjc I have no idea about that. I only know of submitting shopping receipts.

@lovebuglena You have to have a separate app for it. Swagbucks live. Monday to Thursday at 6:00 pm (mountain standard time) there is a 10 question trivia game. 1SB for right answers and share the 1000.00 SB if you get them all right. I usually get 7 or 8 cents and once in a while 30 cents for my share of the "grand prize"

@paigea Oh. I think I've heard of that. There is no room on my phone to download any apps.
