Now before y'all jump down my throat because I went to Dollar Tree in the middle of a pandemic, I had to get snacks for the kids and some cleaning supplies. Since I was there already I decided to pick up a couple other things that we have been talking about buying. I spent just under $56 dollars, which is higher than what I usually spend when we stop off at DT, but like I said I needed to do some pantry shopping. Anyway, for just under $56 I got. -Six blue lego base plates -Seven yellow lego base plates -24 piece mermaid puzzle -24 piece princess puzzle -2 cookie sheets -square cake pan -gray hot pad -black hot pad -post workout epsom salt soak -fresh linen wax melts -bread/meatloaf pan -2- 15 pack Gain dryer sheets -4 pack plastic mixing spoons -rectangle brownie/cake pan -2- 2 pack packs of sponges - White Rain body wash for men -3 pack My Little Pony childrens toothbrushes -2- 4 packs snack size Hello Panda snacks -Hungry Jack Au Gratin potatoes -cookie butter -3 pack snack size Rice Krispie Popables - Udderly Smooth hand cream -funfetti mug cake -6 pack funnel cake mix -Betty Crocker brownie mix -Idahoan Instant Mashed Potatoes -Russel Stovers chocolate covered marshmellow eggs -2- 4 packs of Oreo most stuf cookies -Cow Tails mini’s -Sesame Street 64 count flushable wipes -Mouth Wash So, overall I think we did pretty good. Won't have to do any snack shopping for a little while. Have you gotten any good deals recently? When was the last time you went out shopping? I've noticed in one of my crafting groups on FB that people are saying there DT's are closed. I wonder what is causing ours to stay open. It's probably because of our demographic and the fact that we don't have any stores here that have a little bit of everything other than Walmart.

@Tina30219 I go like every other week. Not as much as I used to. But I don't live in town anymore.

I was pretty excited about them. I think I have to go back before the weekend, because we are hopefully going to be able to do something fun with the kids this weekend. If there's some left, I'll grab for you goodie box.

I would get one of those or one of the coconut eggs in my basket as a kid.

I'm the queen of stretching the dollar. You should ask my boyfriend. He's amazed sometimes.

I think our DT is still open. I haven't been in awhile but looks like you got a good haul on your shopping trip.

@thislittlepennyearns I keep saying I'm going to organize but being a bona fide procrastinator nothing is getting done

I haven't noticed whether or not our dollar stores are open, but then again I haven't been out of the house in the last 11 days. I haven't been shopping in over 2 weeks now, and judging by what I still have left in my pantry/fridge, I can probably stretch it out another week and a half before I need to go shopping. Maybe longer if I can sweet-talk my daughter into bringing me snacks and food.

I figured more would be open than closed. But we aren't on complete lock down here like some. We don't have as many cases as other places either, so that might be a factor.
