Two days in a row of country music, and one of them that would have blown the Martians’ brains to bits faster than Slim Whitman’s voice in Mars Attacks!, and I’m thinking I’d better put a rocker in here before y’all break the social distancing rules to whoop up on me. With only ten songs, that means some things got cut. Here’s one of them.

With an album that sold over 25 million copies I don’t want any of that “never heard of them” stuff! 
The closer from side one (although, but the time this album came out, I was buying more CDs than LPs) is a terrifying ballad about a couple addicted to heroin. It’s so soft, though, that you’d almost think it would be a love song. Well, in a sense, I guess it is, just not a “good” kind of love” (“she will suffer the needle chill”).
Brutal and haunting.
