Do you think that we will get rid of coronavirus?

In our country we don't have too many cases. People stay at home, but they don't have money for food. In my opinion the coronavirus will always be present. When the lockdown will end the virus won't disappear. The risk will always be there. I will have to go to the dentist and I can get this virus.

I think you are right, that it will probably always be around, either coming and going like the flu, or just staying until enough people build up an immunity.

@dya80dya - Maybe, but they are racing to find an effective treatment, as well as a vaccine. Some of us may never have to get sick if we can hold out for the vaccine, and others who do get sick may benefit from more effective treatments so they don't have to get terribly ill or die.

@dya80dya The scariest part is the people who don't believe it's real or who don't take it seriously. There are many people who are denial that it won't hurt them or their families.

@dya80dya it may or it may not, SARS is gone forever, it mutated to a form that's no longer harmful while AIDS-HIV is still very much with us.

You know I stopped worrying, What the Lord chooses for me will be just fine. I amuse myself with scenes like from the musical Bye Bye Birdie where every time Albert disappointed his mother she looked up to say to her husband to deal her into the card game. So I look up and say Martin I sure hope you're waiting for me when I get up there

@dya80dya that is true, some viruses stay here forever like the flu and the common cold. We may have a vaccine soon for prevention.
