I just finished with the cleaning of floor and the house is full of the lime fragrance of the floor cleaner. Lunch is getting cooked and along with that I am mylotting here. I am relaxing with a cup of coffee. The delicious aroma of dum aloo ( an Indian dish made out of baby potatoes) and tadka dal ( spicy lentils) has filled the whole house and it's really tempting I will relax for sometime with my coffee here. I am exhausted and sweating after a long morning. Done with morning yoga session, cleaning of house, breakfast and now lunch... I have finished a lot in a stretch. Now after my coffee, I will just clean the kitchen snd all the dishes and then head to shower. My daughters are doing laundry and two loads have been done and hanged for drying. So till I am here, I will read new discussions and respond. I have some 20 minutes here

Yes. Days in lockdown are getting more busy. And staying busy is the best way to beat the blues that this virus crisis has brought.

@arunima25 That's for sure. We are trying to keep occupied and think up a few new things to do as well.

Your post made me think of the fresh veggies we miss having (baby potatoes here). We have been using frozen veggies for the time being.

@arunima25 You are so right. The problem right now is the concern about getting Covid-19 from other silent & super spreader. The last time I went grocery shopping, I had to avoid using the shopping trolley, and because of that, I could not get a lot...

@YrNemo You did the right thing. it's better to take all possible precautions from our side. Better safe than sorry! You are right. The silent and super spreader are a big concern. That makes the virus even more scary.

Oh! Is it because of this virus crisis?? Frozen veggies are good but nowhere close to fresh produce.

That is a lot of work. While a home, I am able to manage machine wash and drying better. Clothes do not pile up. And today, I washed 10 utensils in 6 minutes - a good speed for me (though my wife does not feel so !!)

Good that you are helping your wife. I am sure she would have appreciated it but you know a good teacher keeps pushing you to your best potential. I am sure you will be there soon.

I also like the smell of the home when it is newly mopped. Maybe because of the cleaning wax that is used by our housemaid.

Yes. Getting more to do. Once in home, you look around and find that more and more things need to be done.

India is a land of spices and herbs and so our preparation include a lot of them. Our climate also favors spicy food. And since it's a part of our culture we grow up liking it.
