Before I have my break time and a quick nap this afternoon, let me share this news for today. I got it from Yahoo and it claimed that it can eliminate the coronavirus. I am not going to elaborate on it. It is your discretion about this matter.
What do you think about this latest news?
Does it pacify our worries about the virus?
Preliminary results from government lab experiments show that the coronavirus does not survive long under high-temperature, high-humidity conditions, and is quickly destroyed by sunlight, providing evidence from controlled tests of what scientists believed

I think it's going to be a tough job explaining to people what it means.
From what I've read before, this means that the virus doesn't survive as long on surfaces etc, so the risk of getting infected by touching something someone else have touched will be less in areas that aren't densely populated. In a crowd it won't help much, 'cause it can still go from human to human.
I'm still looking forward to sunlight though. If it also kills a virus or two, that's great, but spring is much awaited here.

@LadyDuck People seem to have problems with distinguishing between what stops it outside the body and what stops it inside the body. I'm worried people'll think that it'll safer in the summer.
Not that it's a problem here in anyway yet. +5C and windy, so noone thinks the sun can kill anything ...

@Torunn I know that this claimed by the experts are still on the process of research. At present, we still don't have concrete facts to combat this coronavirus. There is so much information are circulating on the internet. One thing for sure, the heat under the sun is still being questioned. As I perceived about the link shared, it needs to know more time until the summer season. Let's see if it will be proven right.

@LowRiderX I agree. I remembered that one of my Chinese students claimed that cases decreased after the winter season in China.

ok if you say so. I go by what is going on in my country and right now they are starting ease things up but if gets bad again in two weeks back to restrictions. People over 65 are supposed to stay in. I will have to go out and get things because I am the only one to do it.

Its common science that UV breaks down the power of a virus, why flu wanes in the summer

Here they reckon the virus will have a rerun but not so strong in about two months time.
The sun can help somewhat but with that kind of thing not so sure very dodgy to rely just on that information.

Hope this is true. Hope the rainy season will not help the virus to spread

@Shavkat That is great. Positive patients should expose themselves to direct sunlight
