I just finished watching a show on Netflix called Waco. It is the story about David Koresh the leader of the Branch Davidians that took place in Waco, Taxes in 1993.
It's a 6 part mini series with each episode about an hour long. It first released in 2018. The story takes us form just before the stand off to its end. We see from each side of what we believe to have happened.
I'm not even going to get into the religious side of it here. But I wanted to mention that fact that these people believed in him and that amazes me that people would stay with him through all of this.
I also want to mention the fact that the government thought this was a good way top deal with this. How was it that force was used right away? How was it covered up so easily?
If you haven't seen it maybe take a look at it, I thought it was an interesting show.

Well, lets see. Each episode is based on a book someone who was involved, wrote. How much should I believe them? The story part of what happened inside the compound is based on the survivors accounts of what happened. How much should I believe that? At least some of it is based on the public documents released by the government of how the situation was handled by ATF and FBI. How much do we believe that?
So to answer your question how much do I believe it to be true. Unfortunately, anything that the government is involved in we will never know 100% of the truth. I'm sure the people inside that got out didn't tell the whole truth either. So I would say maybe 70% true.

I saw a few episodes of it when it was a rerun on some channel. It is interesting how people followed him.

I will check it out since the late David Koresh is proof of the saying "Know the Devil you serve."

@Deepizzaguy From what I remember seeing on TV about him, it sure seemed that way.

@JohnRoberts Yea, I think it did a good job of showing the wrong on both sides, but still wonder what we didn't get to know.
