In my opinion fear is what makes humans behave the way the do. Working is the fear of hunger, good behavior is fear of the law, therefore for me l think we need it What do you say?

I think it is both good and bad. Fear keeps us restricted - sometimes, that means it keeps us safe but other times it can hold us back from something that could be good. Fear can keep us alive or it can challenge us.

@LaDonn Neither or both. It depends on what is feared and why. If we were to be chased by a bear, our fear would encourage us to run away therefore keeping us alive. If we were offered an opportunity that would change our life but didn't take it because we were scared, that would be bad.

It's probably necessary for survival, but needs to be overcome.

Fear is good since I would think twice of touching a hot stove or getting into a fight with a police officer.

Since God loves us, wants the best for us and knows what is best for us then wanting to obey him and do what he directs us to do would work in our best interests.

So you agree that without fear mankind will not survive and that fear is a necessity in maintaining order
