Reflections on Today

Not much went on today. We were all up and about early this morning and I'm surprised that I am still awake. I wanted to knock out some notifications though and not let them get away from me. I didn't do much outdoors today because the ground was wet from all the downpours late yesterday and throughout the night. I did see my first grass snake of the season today. I almost stepped on the little fellow. He was small and skinny and too close to the chicken coop! I almost picked him up but instead steered him towards the woods and away from the chicken coop. Those ladies would eat him up in a split second. I also made a post office run to mail some Ebay packages today. I got a phone call from the hubby while I was out asking what was for lunch. I directed him to the refrigerator and to make a sandwich. He didn't like that idea and asked me to stop and get hamburgers for all of us. I turned around and headed to the drive through at Miss K's. The only other place here is Rockin' K's and it is a old timey drive up place. The parking lot there was packed so I skipped it and got in line at the other place. The line was all the way out to the highway, but moved well and I was out of there with food within ten minutes. Not bad for approximately 12-15 cars ahead of me. That's my unexciting day today.
