What can you say about the twin pandemic in 2020? The Second Wave?

Scientists expressed their worries about the second wave of the virus. What shall we do? We do not have super powers to fight the invisible killer. Why can't the World Health Organization find the exact medicine for corona virus when they are experts on this matter? What do they need? Money? But the world has million dollars contributions, minus this time because US President Trump won't anymore donate million dollars to WHO.
When shall the second wave come?
. We are still struggling this time to stop the spread of the virus in all means, but if so suddenly the second wave comes, many surely commit suicide due to depression and boredom. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks friends for reading. Let us stay at home.

There is a second wave? I hope not.
I am enjoying the sun on my balcony though it is only 17 degrees celcius and windy as well. Enjoy your day there. Don't think too much about this pandemics it will just make you sick. I try just to keep myself safe and be busy to get rid of negative thoughts.

Opinions are divided on second wave. Particularly on having coronavirus for second time. Although China has reported the coronavirus infection coming second time for the same person, It is believed that once a person gets virus infection of this type,the body develops antibodies to fight that virus and the person is never infected again.

@msdivkar, that is why doctors request the recovered from virus patients to donate their plasma.There was also a statement fro a doctor that those who got infected may be infected again . It was on news one woman after being free from virus of some weeks, she was infected again. have you heard or read that news? Many are scared and confused.

@YrNemo, I cannot avoid to feel worry because I have 420 students waiting me . I pity them for they now start to feel uncertain . I am so hopeful that someone can discover the right vaccine for only vaccine can eliminate the virus in the world. Thanks my ffiend.

@averygirl72 , this time it seems hard for me not to pay the news because just recently there are additional 15 covid infected, we supposed to be covid free three weeks ago.I spend sleepless nights thinking about this virus. It should have not been here on earth.

They are saying we will get 3 waves the US is I the first while China is in there second wave. So we got two more coming. That and most of the US hasn’t even hit the peak yet we are still a few weeks out from the peak.

@cacay1 they are not sure if a vaccine will help or nots this is why they are trying to keep people home so they eaves are smaller and we can gain herd immunity. There is a small chance that once you have it you bodies have immunity but they are uncertain still. Lots of test are happening lots of theories out there on what might happen what might help. Only time and studying it as it changes form person to person is the only key they have.

@ShyBear88 , we don't exactly as to who could provide the world with the vaccine . There's a scientist from Oxford then the vaccine was manufactured three weeks only and they had done a trial and the scientists themselves undergo the test.

@iniaku, the second wave might start in the month of September, and we are still recovering from the first wave. If not recovered meaning still rising, then most probably mortality rises. How cold we celebrate Christmas if that is the picture of the planet? It's so bad.

The future will bring what it brings. Let's get through this first stage before we begin worrying about the next or any subsequent stages.
As for why there is no vaccine, it is a completely new virus. it takes time to create something no one has ever had to create before. Yes, they have created vaccines before, but each one took years to develop for the most part. They also have the issue of making sure that whatever they come up with isn't worse than the virus itself. Patience is not something I am known for, but in this, we all have to be patient. The experts are working as fast as they can to find a way to stop this virus. But it may well be a year or more before we see the results.

@cperry2, that will be too long to wait, but we have to wait to clear the world. Scientists said the second wave is worst that the first. How could humans survive. Let us just wait and see. While on this situation, let us just be obedient to the laws of our land to be safe. Thanks for sharing your nice thought, very much appreciated.

@cacay1 You are welcome. Here in the states, the authorities are very worried that this virus will make a resurgence in the fall --- at the same time we normally get hit with flu season. That will be a very bad combination. I don't know what will happen, we shall see. Stay safe and protect yourself and those you love the best you can.
