Ranch Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

That is what is going on the dinner table tonight. Let's say it's in honor of finding the lid to the casserole dish. Oh, and then finding out the oblong bowl that someone in the family stacked up with the regular bowls is actually a casserole dish.
I've been making casseroles in what is technically meant to be like a lasagna pan / baking sheet... ANYWAY
Ranch Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
What You'll Need:
Cooked / Shredded Chicken
Dry Ranch Seasoning Packet
Cream of chicken / mushroom (or you can make your own shtuff, I don't care)
Sour Cream
Cheese
Tater Tots
Yourself
Oh and you can shreddy shred the chicken if'n ya 'ant ta!
Take yourself and cook the chicken (That is, if you weren't lazy like me and bought it already cooked),
Combine the soup, sour cream, cheese, ranch seasoning packet and chicken together.
Put the tots of tater in there too.
Mixey Mixey Mix Mix and then VOILA
Dumpy Dump the Gloppy Gloop into the casserole dish.
350 for however the pixie sticks you want. (I mean, I just check at 30 minutes or so myself)
and then, when it's almost done, you can add more cheese if'n ya really want to.
Okay, so with that silliness aside... My county has a "mask the city" Initiative, so I wore a mask today while shopping, and gloves to boot. I felt like one of the infected on TWD or something... But I got my shopping did!

I can check shopping off my list. I'm also going to organize a few drawers etc here, do some writing, do some mylotting... Cooking (obviously) and possibly, QUITE POSSIBLY, watch the movie 1917

The chicken sounds good. Were you the one that asked me about how many movies you can fit on a DVR? If you did, I counted them. I had ***82***, not 30; and it used up about 45% of the disk space on the DVR. Nothing on my agenda for today.

Yes, I was. Oh wow it sounds like you can fit quite a lot on your DVR then. I guess I was always under the impression that you couldn't fit so much on a DVR. As I said, we were grandfathered in so no DVR for us, but that's okay. I use free apps on my roku, as well as netflix to do most of my t.v. watching.
I hope it will be good, it's a recipe that I found online.

Yes, it seems it's becoming mandatory here. The only thing is that places will not turn you away if you aren't wearing one. Some people in the county are saying "why do we have to do this? Our rate of infection is the lowest in the state!"

@m_audrey6788 Yes, and I think they should. However, there are areas here in the US that are already opening back up. We (North Carolinians) are supposed to stay closed down for another four weeks. I think we should not open back up until July, though I know it will be a stress on the economy and on people personally. I've heard that we could see another resurgence of the virus in the winter!

The recipe I followed called for 16 ounces of sour cream. I thought that seemed quite excessive, but I used it anyway. If I make it again, it will be without so much sour cream.

@LadyDuck I didn't add enough chicken either, but it was still tasty. I might use shredded pottoes next time, and perhaps add bell peppers.
