Barry White was born September 12, 1944 and was an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer and composer. He is well known for his unique bass-baritone voice. He is a 2x Grammy winner; and in the 1970s he sang solo and with The Love Unlimited Orchestra. White had 112 gold albums, 41 of which went platinum, 20 gold and 10 platinum singles and sold more than 100 million records worldwide. He passed away on July 4, 2003.
