I Hope I Can Get Some Geraniums This Year

I love geraniums and have quite a few every Summer. But now, I am wondering if I will be allowed to go to the Nursery and pick up the ones I like the best. My favorite colors for geraniums are first: dark pink, then, pale pink and then, and then, red and white. What are your favorite colors for geraniums?

Where I live we can have perennial geraniums. I have some in my terrace wall.

@marguicha Wow! That is something that I would love to have, but we have snow and very cold weather in late Fall and Winter.

I feel the same way about going to a nursery. Light pink, deep pink, white, and red are the only colors I like in that order for geraniums. Most of my landscaping is in all pinks, then whites, then blues/purples. My deck is a hodgepodge of color.

I think the color in the photo is lovely. I don't know most flavors apart though. I want to plant some seeds soon that I have had in a drawer a long time.

I think my favourite are red, then dark pink. I have been wondering about the nurseries too. I am sure they will still be selling. Maybe we will have to order and pick up. Instead of wandering around the greenhouse.

I don't have a favorite color. I like them all. I don't know much about gardening but I heard that geraniums are a good flower for beginning gardeners. Is that true?

@marlina This is my problem too - nurseries all inaccessible. I hope they open before planting time is over. I love the bold red variety and the smell of geraniums transports me right back to childhood in Africa where we had loads of them.

I hope you get some pink ones ...they are my favourite ….my parents are both good gardeners ...me ...not so much...I have hayfever and tend to stay away from flowers and plants.
